Tokyo Mew Mew

Why resist? I say jump in whenever the want is there. Personally, I adore the dark haired one--she has this ballet-style transformation that I really enjoy--and the corsets are cute! And the maid costumes! And the school-girl outfits!

I swear, this show has everything.

I sometimes feel the need to check my gender and sexual orientation--I mean, heterosexual men aren't supposed to be this aware of clothing, are they? Ah well, maybe I really am metrosexual. Glad to hear you must draw them, though--drawing for fun is a great way to really enjoy art simply for the sake of creation.

I actually have the first season of tokyo mew mew on manga form; it's alright if your looking for a new age sailor moon (Tons of simularities)
but the art is awesome and I say; heck, even if your not into anime anymore, that's cool, watch cause it has pretty graphics. I have tons of friends that hate anime but watch stuff like appleseed because its: "Perty on tha eyes"

I am such a fangirl sometimes ...

Yup. Sailor Moon all over again. Except I can, and often do, watch the Mew Mews (SM makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon). Kinda sad, but then again, I have even caught myself watching the Winx Club; must speak to the sparkly, pretty little girl within me.

I know a big reason why this show speaks to me is my appreciation of strong women, or in this case, independent, assertive, fun-loving, ass-kicking super hot girls ^^ Sadly, only 2 of the 5 girls fit into more than 1 of those categories (super hot being the sole category all the girls fit), those being Rene (wolfgirl) and Kikki (monkeygirl), the oldest and youngest, oddly enough, yet it is enough to keep me watching.

Haha! I totally watch Winx club! It has so much potential, but the animation is really bad, and no, I'm not talking about the lip sync...I caught myself thinking that it would have been so awesome if it was animated with the care that sailor Moon was :P

I saw some fan-subbed eps of this a while ago, and I still have some on disk, I liked it that much. ^.^
It really does go back to Sailor Moon, but gets kinda quirky (I wasn't able to get episodes past where Ichigo turns completely into a cat! But I know it's good!) Lettuce rocks! What can I say - Mercury and Saturn were my favorite of the Sailor Moon girls...
Saddly, of course, (and as you may have guessed,) "Mew Mew Power" is totally a hack-and-slash of "Tokyo Mew Mew". Some of the most mature and intense eps are editied and/or omitted. u.u...
But I say, hey, go to and enjoy the candy. *smile* Looking forward to your sketch!

first, i would like to say i have admired your work since hte beginning when you created that Sailor Moon story (all hte characters wer ehte most original i've seen next to Sailor Orion).
Second, I was still with you when you changed sites and then it took me a while to find your new site but again ur artowkr is amazing.
i think you're one of the best artists out there and wish i had an ounce of your talent. you and my other friends.

oh yeah! tokyo mewmew is great but sadly i've been unable to see it much myself. still it's very cute and i don't care what others say but i still love sailor moon and all the episodes and movies from the first to the very end.

As for inspiration, well, I dunno, a lot of things inspire me, obviously Sailor Moon was a big part of that, but it could be anything. Color inspires me a lot too, and thats kind of ambiguous, but its true. Inspiration for everyone is different, but it can really come from anywhere...

As for your muse, the most important (and frustrating) advice is don't force it. It sucks when you wanna do soemthing "good" but its just not working, but it'll always come back eventually. Mine left for like a year :P And right now, I'm just trying to get back to where I left off!
